The D-45 is the flagship model for the standard Martin Guitar lineup. Originally designed in 1933 for the singing Cowboy, Gene Autry & later discontinued during world war 11. Martin re-introduced the D-45 in 1968 & it remains as iconic today as it was in 1933.
This guitar is from 1994 & is in fantastic condition, showing only a few extremely minor blemishes. Aside from the stunning inlays & bindings, the D-45 is comprised of a Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, and ebony fretboard and bridge, the D-45 delivers string-to-string balance with a full & warm low end , yet allowing vibrant trebles to cut through. Original molded hardcase included.
