Hudson SJ-200 Antique Burst

A stunning Hudson SJ-200 Super Jumbo acoustic guitar, finished in a beautiful Antique Burst, offering the impressive presence, projection and visual character of a classic SJ-200 at a fraction of the price of the famous American equivalent.

This is a particularly handsome example, featuring solid spruce for the top and solid maple back and sides, giving the guitar a powerful, articulate voice with plenty of clarity and projection. The large Super Jumbo body produces a rich, full-bodied sound that works equally well for strumming, flatpicking and vocal accompaniment.

The detailing is exceptional. It features an ebony fingerboard and bridge, elegant Japanese maple and herringbone-style binding, and striking abalone inlay work throughout. The ornate headstock and fingerboard appointments give this guitar a genuinely distinctive appearance, while the Antique Burst finish sets off the figured wood beautifully.

The guitar is also fitted with built-in Fishman electronics, making it ready for amplification as well as delivering a strong acoustic voice when played unplugged.

The interior label identifies the instrument as a Hudson SJ-200. This is a beautifully made, highly distinctive instrument that combines substantial construction, impressive appointments and excellent stage presence.

It is supplied with its original hard-shell case, which is itself a particularly cool and substantial case.
