Gibson Southern Jumbo Sunburst - 2001

Now in stock at Black Rose we have this 2001 Gibson Southern Jumbo. The Southern Jumbo is basically a “deluxe” version of the J-45. The upgrades are mainly esthetic, as the Southern Jumbo features split parallelogram inlays in the fingerboard, more ornate body binding and rosette, added fingerboard binding, and a torch inlay on the headstock. Otherwise, it shares the same wood recipe and specs as the J-45, such as a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a 24.75" scale length.

This 25 year old model is in great shape , has one ding on the lower bout just above the strap button and coming into its own patina with gentle checking on the top & very comfortable to play. Includes the original hard shell case.
