Produced in the early to mid 1990's, the Fender PR 244 Super reissue offered a new approach for those seeking vintage sounds. The Super PR 244 features unique channel switching to offer the player three different vintage amplifiers.
The Normal Channel is based on an original tweed Bassman circut of the late 50s, the pull cut feature on this channel cuts to lower mids and adds the tweed brightness. The Drive channel consists of two independent gain controls to offer full volume tone at lower volumes, while gain 2 delivers just the right amount of "edge" & sustain.
This amp is in great shape with a couple cosmetic scuffs & has been meticulously cared for by the original owner. Original owner's manual, schematics & Fender amplifier brochure included.
